osc a bigot? i never would have guessed. how truely weird. well that explains enders game. i always pegged him for a pedophile afer that book, and mighty queer ta boot. i guess you never can tell when they are in the closet.

... is perhaps a better term, but what does that mean other than a prejudice that one’s opinion is better than others’?

And yeah, I couldn’t bring myself to read much more after he started going off on Calvinist philosophy (which I think was in the 2nd book in the Ender series, but whatever).

Later, I realized that so many geeks and nerds lionized him because he sketched out their favorite fantasy: the nerdy, unwanted underdog saves the day. The same theme is a big part of why The Matrix and even Star Wars are such recurrent geek favorites.
